TA1, TA2, and TA3 are all industrial pure titanium, which have high mechanical properties, excellent stamping performance, and can be welded in various forms. The strength of the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the base metal, and the cutting performance is good. Titanium tubes have high corrosion resistance to chlorides, sulfides, and ammonia. The corrosion resistance of titanium in seawater is higher than that of aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and nickel based alloys. Titanium also has strong impact resistance.
An alloy composed of titanium as the base and other elements added. Used for manufacturing condenser tubes, it can be used in polluted seawater, water with high suspended solids content, and at higher flow rates.
Titanium alloys can be classified into three types based on their structure.
1. Aluminum and tin elements are added to titanium.
2. Adding alloying elements such as aluminum, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium to titanium.
3. Adding elements such as aluminum and vanadium to titanium. Titanium alloy has high strength but low density, good mechanical properties, good toughness and corrosion resistance. In addition, titanium alloy has poor processability and difficult cutting processing. In hot working, it is very easy to absorb impurities such as hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon. It also has poor wear resistance and complex production processes.
